In late 2009, Hope "Mommie Bear" Walker returned to Sprint Triathlon competition after a 7 year retirement. Her success in her age group has been fabulous and she has qualified for and has become a member of the USAT Team USA for 2011 and will compete for the USA team at the 2011 Sprint Triathlon World Championships in Beijing China in September 2011. This blog is to chronicle her efforts and journey and to help raise donations to fund her trip to Beijing China to represent the USA Team and to chronicle the family's involvement in multisports competition.

We got to see the "Birds Nest" Stadium and the Water Cube and then back to the triathlon venue this afternoon to watch the Elite Women which was very cool. Bike is packed up. Two more days of siteseeing and shopping and then back to the USA! KW
