Hand Calligraphy in local hutong (old city neighborhood) - making signs with our girl's names on them!

We took a rickshaw bike tour through a local hutong (old city neighborhood).  The bikes dropped us off and we walked through the hutong and stopped at a local family's home to visit and see how they live.  The man was an artist and did hand calligraphy.  We asked him to make us signs with each girl's name.  He did it in English and Chinese characters.  They turned out beautifully!!!  Here, he is working on one.  FYI - THIS IS A SURPRISE TO THE GIRLS.  PLEASE DON'T TELL THEM!!!
